Bay Rum is a multi-purpose aromatic lotion made from the Bay leaf (pimenta racemosa). This seemingly magical leaf appears to capture the cool island breezes and freshness of the Dominican waterfalls. It is said to have several qualities which have maintained its status as one of Grandma's home remedies for generations. On the 'Nature Isle' of Dominica, few households are without it. Uses: men's cologne, aftershave, or after-shower refresher. In the Caribbean, Bay Rum is traditionally used as a relieving rub for muscular pain or minor skin irritations (not for internal use).
